Well good for him, he’s a very good player and one of the best England has, but with Arsenal fans squirting with delight as he is their player now, I’m not sure I’m that bothered!

We all said he'd captain England. Shame not while he was with us but still great for him. In an England shirt I wish him well.

He definitely would have done. No question.

I really don't want to get into all this again, but I have to say - I really don't see what he could have done better. We were always going to be gutted and were even more so because he went to Arsenal and not the very top.

As good a player as he is Bellingham will never captain England, he'll need to learn to control his temper.

He moved on to a better team, who are challenging for bigger things than we are and had every right to move if he wanted.
But he still did it with a lack of class and decency towards our fans in my opinion.
Well done on a 50th cap and captaincy, doesn’t have any bearing on our club though.

I respect Rice as a player and a pro, but find him a bit cringe as a person and couldn't give two fucks about him now, for obvious reasons.
When you were once running around over the park as a kid with jumpers for goalposts and you're now leading your country out at Wembley at 25 that is a fucking big deal and only a very tiny percentage of young hopefuls make it. A lot of blood, sweat, tears and sacrifice have got him to this point, it don't do itself that's for sure.
Suspect he will have to wait a while to become perm captain as Kane will play to at least the next world cup and then any new manager may even prefer Bellingham as skipper.
